I once again welcome you all to my blog. Today, we are going to get information about the OS in this blog. What is the operating system, how many types of operating systems are there, who uses the operating system? There is a lot of information to be gained.
What is OS Before proceeding with the content, I am making a small request to you that if you want this kind of information in the future, then you must subscribe to our blog so that you can get similar information in the future.
What is the Operating System
In today’s time, we all use the OS. It is a different matter that we have not been taught about theOS in our schools. I think that computer education should be compulsory up to the intermediate level in our schools. By the way, what is your opinion, you must tell through comments. Let’s move on
You have come here only by using the operating system. I try to understand you by an example, suppose you have to go to Uttar Pradesh and you have not gone before, you have to take the help of someone who has gone to Uttar Pradesh many times.
Similarly, if you take a new mobile, laptop or desktop, then you need an OS, which provides you with a type of platform from where you can search for any service.
Suppose you have bought a new laptop and you need Windows. This is called our OS.
We hope you understand the OS
Now let’s talk about how many types of OS are there,
Operating system type
Ever since the era of technology has come, gradually we have built a lot of OS till now, and we understand that as long as humans rule this earth, then something new and better than ever operating We will continue to build the system. Some OS are named below. One by one, I will try to understand everyone.
- Batch OS
- Multiprogramming batch OS
- Network OS
- Multiprocessor OS
- Distributed OS
- Real-Time OS
1.Batch Operating System
This is an old operating system, the whole work is automatic, the cost of processing is a lot of work.
2.Multiprogramming batch OS
Running more than one program at the same time is called Multiprogramming batch operating system.
We usually use it to share files through computers, share applications, printers and make security available.
Example- Linux, Unix, Mac OS, Windows server 2003
4.Multiprocessor Operating System
Multiprocessor operating systems have more OS and processes programs running simultaneously at the same time.
Example- Mainframe, supercomputer
5.Distributed Operating System
Used as a Signal System by connecting many computers, it is called a distributed system.
1. If many computers are connected in one place, then we call it LAN Distributed OS.
2. Different computers are connected to the same operating system at different places, so we call it WAN Distributed OS
6.Time-Shearing OS In this system, more than one user uses the same CPU in turn, which we call Time-Shearing OS
We use it for real-time applications, that is, for applications where data processing takes place in a given time.
Example- In controlling the traffic signal, fuel injection, home appliance
*Who uses the operating system
You will get almost all the information about the OS, now the question arises that who uses the OS. We have already explained to you that we all use it, without an OS we cannot run a computer or mobile.
Now we want to know an opinion from you whether computer education should be compulsory in our schools, what is your opinion on this, definitely share your opinion with us through comments, we will be waiting for your comment.
